A stellar candidate deserves a worthy interview.
It’s not difficult; just practice these painless steps:
  1. Prepare your interview for the correct position. (bring job description, org chart, etc)
  2. Prepare and follow an agenda.
  3. Know whom you are interviewing. (resume studied and printed)
  4. Be on time!
  5. Ask questions. (don’t do all the talking)
  6. Be ready for the candidate’s questions.
Even if you have conducted interviews for years, it’s always good to review the basics.  Following these 6 simple guidelines will help you hire a candidate who is EXCITED about the job from the very first moment they meet you.   An enthusiastic candidate will become a motivated new-hire!
