Courtney Shelton

Courtney serves multiple clients as a Designated Consultant and also as a leader on our internal team responsible for the creation and maintenance of all of Achilles TalentConnection tools, process and quality standards as well as a trainer and coach for our colleagues who work on TalentConnection process.

Courtney is highly skilled and broadly experienced in multiple HR Disciplines to include employee relations, talent acquisition, leadership training and development, role clarity, compensation, salary market reviews, performance management, benefits administration, policy and procedure development and implementation.

Courtney adds over 15 years of human resources experience to our team and prior to joining the Achilles Group, she served as the HR Manager for a Dallas based commercial real estate company. Courtney has a natural ability to connect with and inspire collaboration with clients to achieve positive business impact and has experience across multiple sectors to include Hotel & Hospitality, Home Health Services, Skilled Trades, Construction and Field Services, Research & Bio Med, Energy Services, Commercial Real Estate and New Startup Business. She earned both her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and her SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional). Courtney attended Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with an emphasis in Human Resources.

Native to Houston, Courtney lived in Dallas after college, where she met her husband. They have lived in Boston, Houston and are now back in Dallas and still cheering on the Aggies at every stop. Courtney enjoys spending her free time at the beach and traveling with her husband and their rambunctious son.
