Emily is an inquisitive HR Professional, with an interest in the moving parts of business and how strong leadership and effective training can shape both individuals and businesses for lasting success. She supports Achilles Group’s mission through her work on various tools and presentations, employee engagement opportunities, and research across topics ranging from compliance to compensation. She has experience serving various industries such as oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, property management, industrial services and non-profits. She believes Human Resources can become a strategic partner in any business and looks forward to seeing clients grow with Human Resources.
Emily comes to Achilles from Texas A&M University where she received a Master of Science in Educational Human Resource Development with a Graduate Certificate in Adult Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science in University Studies – Business with minors in Agricultural Leadership and Psychology. Emily has always been a strong people-person and has had a lifelong passion to help others grow, and believes that professional growth is strongly impacted and intertwined with a person’s personal growth. She is passionate about workplace organization and change, an interest that was fueled by her Strategic Development classes, where she became familiar with the holistic approach to change and development in the workplace.
In her personal life, Emily is an active volunteer with the Fort Bend County Fair and enjoys giving back to her community. She loves spending time with her family, and you will often find her in the kitchen with them cooking and baking, one of her greatest personal passions. She spends most weekends crafting and finds that trying new hobbies is one of her favorite hobbies. She is a life long learner, and committed to growth in her professional life, as well as her personal life.
