Achilles Group was established in 2002 by partners JP Magill, Bill Bradshaw, and Arch Payne with a vision to provide enterprise-level HR through a Shared Services model to small businesses at an affordable price with premium expertise.

From day one Achilles Group was different from other providers by focusing on the strategic and revenue aspects of the workforce and human resources as opposed to administrative minutia.
Achilles client’s obtain the expertise and capability of a Fortune 500 HR department, for approximately half of the fixed operating and personnel expense of internal HR capabilities. Achilles Group does not perform clerical and administrative HR tasks (commodity type services) that can most effectively be handled by other vendors (such as payroll or benefits administration).
