About Tammy McCarty

Tammy McCarty is a Human Resources Director with proven ability to provide strategic and operational experience. She has thirteen years experience with proven accomplishments in strategic management, P&L management, mergers and acquisitions, workforce planning, talent management, compensation and benefit design, and employee relations in a diverse number of industries including oil & gas, call centers, technology, banking, insurance, manufacturing, building materials, education and construction.

 

Most recently, Tammy was the Regional HR Manager for Stock Building Supply, a fortune 500 company, where she provided strategic leadership to over 25 various operating units. She was an instrumental member of the human resources team that partnered with operations growing the organization to 360 locations and 18,000 associates producing over $5.3 billion in sales. She successfully managed change in the rapid growth environment (profit doubled) while reducing costs, increasing retention and enhancing employee growth and communications. She also worked for Velocity Credit Union as VP of HR and held the position of HR Director for FirstCare, McCoy Corporation, and SVI Systems.

She graduated Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Communications in Human Relations and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources.
