About Sharon Ely

Sharon Ely is a Human Resources Director with proven ability to meet strategic and operational needs of the business. She has twenty years experience with proven accomplishments in strategic management, mergers and acquisitions, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, employment law compliance, training and development, compensation and benefit administration.

Sharon’s experience has included working for the American Cancer Society as a HR Business Partner where she provided HR support for multiple national business units and a call center operation. As a HR Consultant, she successfully supported HR activities for a simultaneous acquisition and new company spin-off for a biotech company. She has also provided HR and operational support for an engineering firm buy-out.

She has a BS in Human Resources Management from Montgomery University in Meridian, MS. She earned her SPHR certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute in 1992. She is an active member of SHRM and the Austin Human Resources Management Association.
