Her experience includes work in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, telecommunications and oil field services industries. Most recently, she was at Smith International, Inc. where she was a Senior HR Representative and established recruiting processes/procedures and forms to be used globally and improved recruiting efforts through improved vendor relations. She also worked at Baker Hughes as a Compensation Analyst where she developed an annual compensation analysis presentation for executive review and prepared compensation data for 2000+ employees (US & International) in preparation of salary planning and incentive payout. Katrina also previously worked at PageNet as an HR Representative where she streamlined time collection and processing and introduced and facilitated the change management process to management and key staff.
She has a BA in journalism from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas and a MA in organizational management and a MBA with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix.
She also is actively involved in education, as a facilitator for the University of Phoenix’s management and human resources classes, as a mentor and speaker at the Texas Southern University’s Jesse H. Jones School of Business and as an ITT Technical Institute Advisory Committee Member. Katrina is also a member of WorldatWork, SHRM and Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women.
Katrina enjoys being actively involved in her church, spending time with her family, reading, traveling and shopping. Katrina also enjoys attending various sporting events and rodeos. |
