Snow and Ice in Houston!

Achilles Group employees were shocked and delighted to look out the Grant Road corporate office windows to see snow falling to the ground in early December.  Looking up from their PC’s and paperwork, they took a minute from providing  HR services to enjoy the sight and voice the joy of the season – with snowfall being “the icing on the cake”.

Houston - Thursday, September 4th "Recruiting and Retaining Top Performers"

The Freeman Agency and The Achilles Group hosted a Recruiting & Retaining Top Performers workshop on September 4th at The Achilles Group headquarters.  The workshop provided valuable information regarding attracting, sourcing, qualifying, and hiring “star performers”.  Retention tactics which have proven successful for other local small businesses were also discussed and delineated.

Achilles Group, a Houston based HR firm, is expanding to Austin. With the economic storm sweeping the country, it is good to know that Forbes’ latest calculations indicate Texas is the place to get best value for the dollar – with Austin leading the list (San Antonio, Dallas and Houston also make the top 10).  Forbes believes there are promising prospects for job growth in coming years and “Texas, as a whole, is one of the few economies performing extremely well because of the energy and technology sectors.”
All this is not surprising to the Achilles team; however it is still reassuring news, as the firm takes hold of yet another potentially expanding, metropolitan market which is sure to translate to continued growth and expansion of Achilles Group.

Achilles Group Opens an Office in Dallas, Texas!

Achilles Group, a Houston based HR firm, is expanding to Dallas to serve the needs of small and medium sized businesses in the DFW metroplex.
